The design for IBM’s corporate restaurant in Birmann building took into account all the details related to a restaurant with great flow of people. The space flow lines and equipment were intelligently allocated in order to facilitate the operation and to create an enjoyable experience for the consumer.

Villa gusto

Client: Villa Gusto

Villa Gusto is a restaurant located on the ground floor of the commercial building Cidade Jardim Corporate Center, with a capacity of 450 seats distributed in about 1,000m2. It offers breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The environment was designed with modern architecture concepts and innovative finishes, materials and technology such as the partitions in plastic resin, food distribution counters with heating and cooling technology in tempered glass and LED screens and lighting.

The kitchen was fully planned for best usability and operational and natural resources efficiency.

 

Hospital das Américas

We designed the area of Nutrition and Dietetics Service on the Hospital of Americas to suit the Brazilian regulatory agency (Anvisa) prevailing standards. We included a food preparation cell on the Cook & Chill system with a specific area with storage chambers. There is a kitchen with a specific area for preparation and distribution of the patients’ meals equipped with a “portioning” system. The portions are then placed in imported carts with storage technology that can hold both hot and cold meals simultaneously. The employee’s restaurant is located in an adjacent area.

Upstairs, with access to the main reception, we designed a commercial restaurant with a la carte service and a coffee shop located in the access to the restaurant with its own comfort area.

On the same floor on the opposite side, we designed a restaurant specifically to cater to the medical personnel, with its own cafe and a private area with special ambiance.

These two restaurants are connected by a hall for the servers that access a central support scullery, a waiters’ area and an area for dish washing. These areas are all interconnected with the central kitchen riding through specific dumbwaiters for food and waste.

Bombril

Our challenge was to upgrade the kitchen and distribution of the factories’ restaurants to accompany the modernization implemented by the president of the company in production and other buildings.

A complete kitchen renovation was proposed which defined the areas and food flow and adapting them to the new demand for products and services. In the restaurant we used the distribution furniture from Atta Fooding, developed by the StudioIno design team.

Tetrapak

We modernized and expanded the kitchen and restaurant to meet a new demand for front of the house renewal, services change and new products.

 

Globosat

Client: GRSA
Location: Rio de Janeiro | Rio de Janeiro / Brazil

The move to a new headquarters caused the kitchen and restaurant to have their areas reduced.

Our biggest challenge was to meet the needs of this operation in a new much smaller space.

We also had to integrate it to the architecture of the building so that this room was cozy and modern. With the high ceilings in the hall, we designed the comfort areas with glass walls and large luminaries. In the area where the ceiling height is lower we designed the service counters.

The kitchen was designed on the mezzanine and communicates with the restaurant through a dumbwaiter that carries the food to the support scullery.


 

Alpargatas

Project for modernization of cooking facilities and restaurant – with expanded area and volume of meals served.

 

Avon

Client: Avon
Location: Cabreúva | São Paulo / Brazil

We designed the kitchen and restaurant of Avon’s the largest distribution center which together provide 3,000 meals a day. This project was designed within the LEED environmental certification standards.

The project was designed with enough care and consideration so that the kitchen was a modern and very functional space, with the latest equipment.

The production areas are air conditioned providing thermal comfort for employees.

Hospital Amil Barueri
